"URBAN" COMPANY PROFILE

The beginnings of activity of Przedsiębiorstwo Wielobranżowe" "URBAN" date back to year 1962, when Józef Urban (father of Jacek Urban) established Mechanics and Locksmithing Workshop, which quite fast transformed into the company performing sanitary, water and sewage, gas, central heating installations and locksmithing works and specialised mainly in constructing water and sewage installations and then in the maintenance of sewage systems. I started work in this company in 1981, as the cooperating person.

In 1987, I, together with my father - Józef and brother Józef-Andrzej, established a company specialising in water and sewage, gas and central heating installations. In 1990 we split and my brother thereafter ran his own independent company, whilst I with my father continued the Company till my father's death on February 29, 2000.

As the same time, in 1997 I established my own Company - first Zakład Instalacji Sanitarnych "ZIS" - Jacek Urban, transformed in 1999 in connection with widening the scope of the works performed mainly with general construction services into Przedsiębiorstwo Budowlane "URBAN". After my father's death I merged the companies into one Company and after widening of the scope of activity the Company changed its name into: Przedsiębiorstwo Wielobranżowe URBAN (from July 2001). On July 1, 2005, because of the administrative change of numbering the buildings, the Company changed the address to: PL 62-007 Biskupice, ul. Polna 28.

However, throughout the period of our activity, we have performed a number of services related to constructing water supply and sewage disposal systems, including maintenance works related to ongoing exploitation and maintenance of sewage systems and general construction works, including works related to returning the land to its original state. Since the very beginning of our activity, our company has performed repair and maintenance works on unclogging and cleaning sanitary and rainwater collection systems on site of many production facilities and companies, for Housing Cooperatives and in Public Utility complexes in Poznań and in the voivodeship (such as schools, kindergartens, universities, libraries, hospitals, Municipal Offices, etc.) as well as for physical persons. For this type of works, we have both the specialised and well-trained staff and rich equipment.

Both the management staff and workers in our company undergo regular trainings in using new technologies preferred by the companies: "Aktiva", "Bims", Centrum Budownictwa "Progres", "GEBERIT" or Organika "Propex", these trainings enabled us to obtain numerous Certificates and thus the results achieved by the Company let us receive many industry awards. The recent achievement of the Company was repeated obtaining the Certificate confirming the fulfillment by the company: P.W. "URBAN" the requirements of: EN ISO 9001:2000 Standard.

The impact on the quality of the performed services has also the equipment and tools, based only on the cooperation with the representatives of renowned companies. We have our own transport, intra-phones and supplies. The company is computerised and has access to the Internet. We procure materials in specialised warehouses, among others, such as: BIMS - Spółka komandytowa, BUTRANS Spółka z o.o.

Our company was and is the member of: Spółdzielnia Rzemieślnicza Blacharsko-Instalacyjna in Poznań and is a member of: the Polish Corporation of Sanitary, Heating, Gas and Air Conditioning Technology.
